The Tenerife Entertainment Awards are now well under way, this event is run by Oasis FM a local radio station on the island of Tenerife. Every year the event helps to raise money for a chosen charity, this year being the Marie Curie Cancer Care - http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/
The local band Traveller have been nominated for this event, and by voting for them you can help to raise money for this charity and also support the live music scene on the Island. The Traveller Blues Band have been hitting the headline recently with their continued hard work as a band and individuals, they recently held a charity event for cancer research UK, and managed to raise 2400 Euros. The charities connected to cancer are close to one of the bands members hearts as he lost a true friend to the disease a few years ago.
"Helping to raise awareness, support and money for research is a valuable cause for this never ending fight."
